El futuro de la evaluación educativa

Después de precisar la noción de evaluación, y acotarla en relación con la que tiene como objeto la calidad de los sistemas de educación básica, el artículo revisa la situación que prevalece en México y América Latina en lo que se refiere a cinco tipos particulares de evaluación: pruebas de aprendizaje, indicadores estadísticos, evaluaciones de docentes, evaluaciones de escuelas y evaluaciones de instituciones de educación superior. Luego, se esbozan dos escenarios que se podrán presentar en el futuro: el que se podría esperar en el caso de que la situación y las tendencias que prevalecen en la actualidad no se modifiquen sustancialmente, y otro deseable, en el caso de que se corrijan los defectos que se identifican en la actualidad y se potencien los puntos positivos.Downloads
