Percepción de los estudiantes de nivel medio superior sobre la educación superior. Dos ciudades y cinco instituciones

Abstract

Se presentan los resultados de un estudio exploratorio conducido en las ciudades de Monterrey y Zacatecas para conocer la forma en que los estudiantes del último año de educación media superior perciben e interpretan la educación superior. Participaron 329 alumnos de cinco instituciones (dos públicas y tres privadas). Se encontró que los jóvenes tienen una visión pragmática y ligeramente idealizada con relación a los usos y beneficios de la educación superior.

Doctor en Políticas Educativas y Liderazgo por la Universidad de Kansas. Profesorinvestigador del Departamento de Educación y Valores del Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Occidente. Sus líneas de investigación versan sobre la gestión de la innovación, educación y desarrollo integral del país, educación y marginación, y política educativa.
