El productivismo o la sobredimensión del paper como meta final de la investigación

En el documento se discute una de las distorsiones de las prácticas académicas y científicas, el productivismo ,generada de algún modo por las políticas de evaluación e incentivos, así como por la manera en que se valida la pertinencia de los productos científicos mediante las publicaciones o papers. Con la sobredimensión de la publicación como meta final de la investigación se dejan de lado o se obvian otras alternativas para la difusión y divulgación del conocimiento. Como contrapeso a tal distorsión, este artículo propone la progresión “Problemas, programas, políticas, investigación” (PPPI) como una estrategia para que en el trabajo académico se promueva la influencia o uso de la investigación en prácticas y políticas educativas y, en la medida de lo posible, se recupere el compromiso con los usuarios de la investigación.
