El museo: espacio educativo potente en el mundo contemporáneo

En este artículo analizo algunas características y recursos de los museos, los cuales constituyen un entramado particular y una serie de elementos útiles para trabajar algunos desafíos del mundo contemporáneo; lo anterior, en pos de una educación que permita la apertura; la integración de distintos conocimientos y formas de aprendizaje; el diálogo; el posicionamiento ético ante la realidad; y el aprendizaje desde y para la persona que se asume como parte de una sociedad. Identifico, a partir de datos empíricos, algunas prácticas de relación de los públicos con los museos y aspectos clave sobre los procesos formativos en éstos para reflexionar por qué deberían considerarse como instituciones fundamentales para la educación humanizadora que demanda nuestro contexto.Downloads
