El reconocimiento del otro como sujeto comenzó a darse en nosotras desde hace ya tiempo, pues diversidad de experiencias vividas a lo largo de nuestra vida, en la infancia o en la adolescencia, nos decía que fuera de lo conocido vivían otras personas, que aunque no las sintié- ramos cerca eran parte de lo que formaba a nuestro país, nuestra realidad y a nuestra propia vida. En gran medida la elección de la carrera de la Licenciatura de Ciencias de la Educación en el ITESO se debió a esto, a decir sí a la oportunidad de trabajar para el otro y con el otro.
