Conflicto, autoridad y argumentación. Elementos para pensar los caminos para la paz en el aula

Este ensayo explora la posibilidad de reducir los conflictos en las aulas y minimizar la violencia escolar desarrollando entre docentes y estudiantes dos instrumentos de manera conjunta: el uso de la autoridad positiva y las habilidades para transformar los conflictos mediante la argumentación práctica. Nuestra hipótesis parte de dos principios: el primero consiste en el postulado de que la autoridad es fundamental para generar orden y sentido de autonomía; y el segundo, que los seres humanos poseemos una capacidad argumentadora que, desarrollada en forma adecuada como estrategia didáctica, ayuda de manera eficiente a transformar los conflictos en soluciones no violentas. Nuestro propósito está orientado por la necesidad de repensar las condiciones de paz en las aulas para replicarlas en otros ámbitos de la sociedad.
