Abstract

Estamos en 2004 y se consolidan las hasta ahora llamadas nuevas tendencias en educación. Por ejemplo: cada vez se hace más densa la oferta de cursos a distancia apoyadas en la tecnología de internet; las instituciones educativas transforman sus rutinas administrativas y académicas en pro- cesos asistidos por computadora; se incrementan los intercambios académicos entre educadores mexicanos y de otros países; se ensayan y evalúan comunidades virtuales de aprendizaje; y los jóve- nes y los niños acceden a mayor volumen de infor- mación en los medios sociales que en la escuela.
