La articulación y participación de un conjunto de instituciones, ámbitos y actores sociales en el proceso de socialización y formación-educación de los jóvenes mexicanos contemporáneos son complejas; la interconexión mundial con el uso de la tecnología, la información, la economía y consumos cotidianos como la música por parte de ellos plantea la urgente reflexión en torno a cómo conforman sus marcos de referencia para sus acciones, su toma de decisiones y el papel que tienen, por ejemplo, la escuela, la familia y los medios de comunicación en este proceso.
