Abstract

La divulgación científica es uno de los medios de que se sirven los hombres y mujeres de ciencia para devolver a la sociedad algo de lo que les ha dado para que pudieran llegar a ser lo que son, que no se reduce a los recursos económicos. El doctor Luis Adolfo Orozco da cuenta de la manera en que llevó a cabo este noble acto de justicia a través de cursos de posgrado sobre ciencia, cultura y sociedad impartidos recientemente en el ITESO, su alma mater, a la que retorna de vez en cuando desde la cátedra que ocupa en el Departamento de Física y Astronomía de la Universidad Estatal de Nueva York, ya como un consumado científico.
