Abstract

Se comienza a hablar y escribir mucho de la educación a lo largo de la vida, pero no es un concep- to nuevo ni una práctica exclusivamente actual. Lo que se pretende con esta reflexión es exponer la problemática y los desafíos que enfrenta en el momento actual. Insistiremos en el interés de no identificar algunas prácticas o modelos de educación a lo largo de la vida, en especial el de formación continua, con la dimensión integral que ha de tener esta tarea.

Author Biography

FLORENTINO SANZ

Profesor de la Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) de Madrid. Es presidente del GRUPO 90, asociación de profesores universitarios españoles que investigan y trabajan en el marco de la educación a lo largo de la vida. Su último libro del año 2002 lleva por título La educación de adultos entre dos siglos y está editado por la UNED.
