PARA QUE EL SUEÑO DE LA RAZÓN NO ENGENDRE MONSTRUOS
Abstract
Es un hecho innegable que las nuevas tecnologías, en particular las que vienen del floreciente romance entre la comunicación y la computación, están transformando la vida cotidiana. La afirmación vale, al menos, para esa parte del mundo y de las sociedades que, pese a las crisis económicas, tienen acceso a una televisión y a una computadora; aunque más pronto que tarde también sufrirán sus efectos quienes permanecen ajenos al suceso. Internet y anexas parecen abrir un sin fin de posibilidades, que llevan a los incondicionales del fenómeno a vaticinar la caducidad del libro y el adiós cercano a la letra impresa. La teleescuela, el teletrabajo, la telecasa, el telemarketing, todo apunta al reinado inminente de la realidad virtual.
