PARA PONER A LA EVALUACIÓN SOBRE SUS PIES
Abstract
El pasado 12 de marzo apareció, en el espacio de opinión del diario Público, la colaboración semanal de Fernando Escalante Gonzalbo, intitulada "La ley y su circunstancia". Aunque la nota editorial del investigador de El Colegio de México cuestionaba, con sobrada razón, la decisión presidencial de enviar al Congreso de la Unión una iniciativa de ley sobre derechos y cultura indígenas porque, a su juicio, el plumazo per se no resuelve los muchísimos y abigarrados problemas indígenas, la lógica de su argumentación se presta, creemos, para tratar el asunto que nos ocupa.
