Abstract

Un pretendido paneo general de los principales problemas y desafíos de la universidad latinoamericana y hasta el ensayo de una serie de propuestas es lo que ha motivado la escritura de este artículo. Las preguntas sobre cuáles son los retos y la prospectiva de la educación superior en América Latina, dónde se encuentra en este momento y hacia dónde debería caminar blowing in the wind han sido algunas aristas que provocaron las afirmaciones que a través de años de estudio y miradas sobre la universidad como objeto de investigación pretenden colaborar con un rediseño casi urgente.

Doctora en Ciencias de la Educación. Colabora en el Instituto de Investigaciones en Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Sus líneas de investigación incluyen estudios prospectivos sobre universidades en Argentina y comercialización y privatización del conocimiento.
