Convivencia inclusiva y democrática. Una perspectiva para gestionar la seguridad escolar

Abstract

Las reflexiones aquí expuestas se orientan a argumentar que gestionar la seguridad escolar es un asunto que puede ser entendido como eminentemente educativo y cuya realización tiene como núcleo principal la manera en que se estructura y organiza la propia escuela y sus tareas, involucrando la decisión y la actuación de los distintos estamentos que participan en ella: alumnos, docentes, directivos, padres y madres de familia. Las principales conclusiones y hallazgos de estudios dedicados a analizar las estrategias desarrolladas en distintos países para prevenir y atender la violencia en las escuelas serán aquí retomados para puntualizar lo que desde la escuela es posible y necesario hacer en la prevención de la violencia.
