ESTRATEGIAS DE CAPACITACIÓN Y DESARROLLO DE DOCENTES
Abstract
La capacitación y desarrollo de docentes universitarios se puede englobar en lo que se ha llamado la carrera académica. El asunto de la carrera académica empezó a cocinarse en las universidades mexicanas hace apenas unos años. Todo parecía bien hasta que el país sufrió un par de reveses severos que fueron orillando a que los puestos administrativos se reconocieran y valoraran aún más. El académico buscaba ser líder o directivo pretendiendo de esta manera ir asegurando su futuro. Pero ante los pocos puestos directivos o sindicales, la mayoría de los académicos, que realizaban docencia y/o investigaciones en una o varias instituciones, empezaron a presionar para que su estabilidad laboral y futuro quedaran asegurados. Esto contribuye a que se origine el SNI.
