En la práctica, la educación suele ser muy vertical. Dentro del salón de clases los alumnos son mayoría, sin embargo, a veces sólo se escucha al maestro. Esta situación se da porque desde el principio nosotros nos asumimos alumnos, es decir, damos por hecho que nuestro aprendi- zaje debe depender siempre de un profesor, que es el portador que distribuye la verdad. Asistimos a clases y pensamos que este escenario es indispensable para la educación. Pero, ¿acaso puede saber el alumno más que el profesor, qué le conviene aprender, profundizar, especializar- se? o ¿esto sólo lo puede decidir su maestro?
