Sections

Submissions should be 4,000 to 6,000 words in length. All manuscripts must be written in APA style and be free of typographical errors. Only unpublished work will be considered for publication. 

Sinéctica accepts three different types of manuscripts: 

Research papers: Such as the final product of an involved process of research, critical thinking, source evaluation, organization, and composition related to a specific topic in education. They must include: 

  1. Introduction, context, and issue addressed. 
  2. Theory and concepts. 
  3. Methodology that presents the techniques and instruments used to collect data and its analysis. 
  4. Results of the project. All empiric information must present its source and theory that sustains it. 
  5. Conclusions and findings regarding educational practice. May include a discussion about the findings or analysis of the evidence. 
  6. References  

Thematic essays. Manuscripts that focus on an educational theme from a prepositive and sustained perspective. Must include: 

  1. Introduction
  2. Theory 
  3. Argumentation and authors contribution 
  4. Conclusions

Book reviews. Not more than 2,500 words. 

Documents must be in attached file with the following requirements: 

  1. Heading that includes title of the article. Full name of authors and degree. Name of institution and department where they work, address, telephone, and email. 
  2. Abstract of no more than 200 words. Keywords. 
  3. Articles must be between 18 to 25 pages in length. 
  4. Charts, tables, and graphs must be numbered, with title and source. 
  5. Full references.

Only manuscripts that comply with the above will be considered for the review process.
