Abstract

El documento expone la importancia de la investigación sobre los procesos de cambio organizacional en las escuelas como insumo para mejorar la implementación de políticas educativas, a través de la identificación de procesos institucionales de cambio y estabilidad. Como ejemplo del valor que tiene la elaboración de estudios de caso sobre el cambio, se presenta el caso de la implementación del Programa Escuelas de Calidad en una secundaria del Distrito Federal, cuyas conclusiones dan luz sobre los procesos que permitirían poner en práctica nuevas políticas educativas.

Miguel Ángel Vértiz Galván

Profesor de tiempo completo en la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional del cuerpo académico Políticas Públicas y Educación. Egresado de la maestría en Administración y Políticas Públicas del Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (cide) y del doctorado en Estudios Organizacionales de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (uam). Sus líneas de investigación permanentes son: “La gestión del cambio en organizaciones educativas” y “Las reformas del Estado y sus implicaciones en los sistemas educativos”.
